Emma Roig Askari is a contributing editor and long-term columnist for Vanity Fair Spain. In a journalistic career spanning decades and thousands of articles, she has interviewed the likes of Fidel Castro, Francis Ford Coppola, Nicole Kidman and Rafael Nadal. She has worked for some of the world’s biggest news outlets such as El País, CNN, Reuters, and CBS. Her passions extend across the worlds of architecture, art, and interior design, coming together across the houses she has decorated in New York, London, Ibiza, and Madrid. She was appointed as an ambassador at Christie’s for the UK Chairman’s Office.
A native of Valencia, Roig Askari is a Fulbright Scholar with a Master of Arts from New York University, as well as a bachelors degree in journalism from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She currently resides between Spain and London.
